SHEIKH AHMED ABULFATHI FOUNDATION
Sheikh Ahmed Abulfathi foundation was originally established as an Islamic private school in 1952 in Maiduguri, Borno state, Nigeria. The aim of the school was to train the Muslims youth and inculcate in them Islamic virtues and moral/codes of behaviors. Based on the remarkable success and contribution of the primary schools, the Sheikh Ahmed Abulfathi Foundation was formed in 1992 to co-ordinate and promote the operation of the fast growing Islamic institutions of learning. OBJECTIVES The main aims and objectives of Foundation are as follows:-
To train Muslim in science education.
It is overseen by a Board of Trustees; the highest policy making body of the organization whose Chairman is Sheikh Muhammad Arabi Ahmad Abulfathi. Currently its activities include education of Muslim youths with primary and secondary schools under its care, provision of scholarships, humanitarian assistance for disaster stricken persons and Islamic propagation.
